ADDRESSING THE NEEDS OF UNACCOMPANIED MINORS (UAMS) IN GREECE

International Organisation for Migration (IOM) implemented a programme of voluntary repatriation and reintegration of unaccompanied minors who wish to return to their families in their respective country of origin. As a partner in the programme, PRAKSIS has undertaken actions to identify and inform unaccompanied minors about the programme in the cities of Athens, Thessaloniki and Patras. For that purpose, streetwork was conducted in order to identify, record and inform unaccompanied minors. The streetwork groups consisted of social scientists and interpreters.
