PROJECTS FOR PROVISION OF FOOD AND SUPPORTEING SERVICE ON THE FRONT LINE
PRAKSIS INTERVENTIONS IN NORTHERN GREECE
Funded by and working with UNCHR, PRAKSIS’s multidisciplinary team intervene in camps in northern Greece (N. Kavala, Herso, Diavata, Thessaloniki’s Port, Nireas and Heraklis camp in Aikaterini). Through the intervention there is provision of psychosocial support (exceptional there is provision of both medical and psychosocial support in Diavata camp).
Moreover PRAKSIS’s stuff participates to Pre –Registration procedure under UNHCR.
VOUCHER PROGRAM IN THESSALONIKI
The project aims to support the most vulnerable refugee families currently residing in and around Thessaloniki with vital food/NFI supermarket vouchers. Funded by CARE organization, PRAKSIS will distribute these vouchers through Day Centers for Homeless People, through which additional support to vulnerable families are provided and which have seen an upsurge in demand linked to the refugee crisis in Greece.
Funded by LDS , PRAKSIS NGO since June 2016 have been implemented escorting service program. Main goal of the project, the immediately transfer of unaccompanied minors (mainly) and other vulnerable cases in appropriate hosting structures.
